OP CJ 2000 Veteran CEG\'er C Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 552 Port Chester, NY	I have a document that I password protected a while back. Unfortunately, I seem to have forgotten the password. Does anyone know a way around it or a way to figure it out? thanks 2000 Black Contour SVT

martymoose New CEG\'er M Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 10	I know it's easy to get around passwords in MS Word, all you have to do is open the document in another program such as wordpad or something like that. You might check to see if you have another program on your computer than can open the file. Most password crackers for those are brute force/Dictionary attacks but I think there is one out there that strips the password from the file. Both are going to take a while to run how fast is your computer ? I will have to look around and see if there are any free ones out there.
