I have the Peerless CSC-X and they are great, especially at that price. The cone materials make it very fast in transients, sharp and clear sounding. Vifa's are treated paper, like the Morels I have also, which are more geared (to my ears) to acoustic music, Jazz, etc. They did go a bit lower basswise.
The SEAS Lotus would provbably be a pair that you would never have a need or desire to upgrade. But unless you have an amp that you are 100% happy and sure your getting the most quality amplification, I dont think it would be worth it,,,I started thinking about those once i heard my system thru the McIntosh amp.
