18MPG with an ATX Zetec. And I thought my fuel economy was atrocious. I squeeze out about 22-24MPG. If I do all highway driving I can eke out 27ish...if the stars are aligned.

-Zetec ATX if the sig wasn't clear...

My Duratech V6 gets the same MPG as my four banger Altima, 23-25 mpg.

Dude, either you're redlining the thing every time you accelerate, or something is seriously wrong with your car ... heck the Duratec doesn't average that bad, never mind the more fuel-conscious Zetec....

Even redlining it for a good amount of the takeoffs for my daily commute, I still pulled 25 mpg on my last tank. And that is with P0171, P0172 and the ever so fun CEL.

Granted, 20+ mins of freeway each way probably doesnt hurt, but I am still pushing 3000 rpms or higher for most of that.

I think my timing is off... I rarily floor my accelerator, too waste of gas... I think my EGR is bad... or my timing is off still...
