Bush has had some really good speechs too though..after 9/11, several state of the unions. The press conference which was suboptimal really degenerated into a bunch of biased media asking the same 2 inappropriate questions about 20X.

Are you sorry, responsible, mistaken about 9/11 and your overall tenure in the white house?? To stubble for words under these accusatory circumstances does not mean the guy cannot deliver a speech.

BTW..Kerry is untested here. He has had the media with him, no grillings by the other Dem candidates (as compared with Dean), no head to head with Bush or his surrogates. Just a same stale stump speech given to a largely friendly audience. Even the single hecklers here and there have rattled him...Would pay money to see vs a room filled with Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Riellys, etc..but it will never happen
