As I mentioned before JaTo, he's got to work on that, or he sure won't be getting my vote.

IMHO, The President is largely a figurehead for his Cabinet. He presents the ideas of his people to the Citizens of the US, Foreign Leaders, and even (when your the President of the US) to many citizens of many different nations.

If you SUCK as a figurehead, it doesn't matter how good your ideas are, or how good your Cabinet's are. No one's going to them seriously. Not here in the US and most certainly not abroad where that Good ol' Boy attitude just doesn't fly.

Kerry himself may suck, but I'm still holding out that he'll pick a good Cabinet. That's what really swings my vote. They're the one's truly making and enforcing the new principles and ideas of the new leadership.

A bad President, or one with bad presentation, can stifle a great Cabinet. A great Cabinet can make up for what would otherwise appear to be a bad President.

My opinion, of course.
