Alliante 10 - $509.99 A little outta my budget. Those Planet Audio NEO's look pretty interesting. The cheapest I could find for a P10NEO was $145 + shipping, though. Anyone seen it cheaper? 2G Sport, thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep woofers like the KW in mind as something of a last resort (many to choose from at that depth) in case I can't find something cheap and weird to use.

are there many neodium magnet woofers out there? i heard that those blau saucer woofers are so thin that 12s in the doors is no problem. THAT would be interesting, but then again, sitting between two 12s would be scary as well. not to mention the amount of sealing and deadening that those doors would need.

There are a few out there that I'm looking into.
Illusion Audio ND-Series Illusion Audio LM-Series Planet Audio NEO Lanzar NEO Boss Audio NEO
The Illusion Audio LM-10 would be absolutely perfect for my application. But, I'm having a heck of a time finding one.

Haven't tried calling around yet, but the closest one to me is in Iowa. I have a feeling that their prices will be a bit high though. I'm trying to find the TS parameters for the Boss and Lanzar subs to see if either of them will work. I can find both of these subs all over the place, but no specs!!!

The PPI PRO104 (Flat Piston Subwoofer) has a 4.25" mounting depth. They're freaky expensive too ($200+). Thanks for the suggestion, tho. I'm still looking. I've e-mailed Lanzar for the TS parameters for their NEO10 sub. It looks to have about a 3-3.5" mounting depth. Plus, it's only $55.
