My only thought on the situation is that will we as a country ever be happy with the president? No, becuase that would mean that Dem. and Rep. would have to agree.

I, too am IMMENSELY interested in seeing where the current war in Iraq has helped our current economy. Pray tell, what indicators are you using? The same ones the Kerry camp is?  I would be interested in your reseach on child labor and how the US has massively benefitted from the illegal use of it, given that I've been to China and seen a number of factories on the mainland (none that I saw), worked in Mexican Maquliadoras (zilch there as well) and have been in a number of facilities in Costa Rica (none there, either). It wasn't like it could be hidden from my eyes or they knew I was coming in most cases, either...
It's still a problem in some areas but it's MUCH less of an issue that it used to be and one you've tried to paint here, I believe.

Who ever said I agree with John Kerry??? definitely not me, but the economy has been on a slow rise guys, cmon, I'm not saying that war is some magical drug that BAM, our economy is just DANDY!!! it's obviously going to take a long while to recover from 9/11, I merely said that war BOOSTS it, and helps it out. Take the depression for example. Argh, this is why I hate discussing and arguing politics, seems no one can say anything that doesn't offend someone else. I was merely stating my POV.

as a final note, Jato, I called the White House. Evidently they did know you were coming. Damn sneaky bastards, hiding everything from you. Dern shame, it really is. Thanks for replies I didn't ask for guys!
I read this thread before I went to work, then at work I decided to ask my boss, if his military friends like Bush, or hate him.
My boss served for 20+ years, retired as a Lt. Col. in the Army and a Major in the National Guard. All the military people he knows (and that's a lot) like Bush for what he has done for the military. There's a few exceptions here and there, but those guys are Dems down to the bone.
He quit the military the same year Clinton got into the White House. Wonder why...
