Are you serious?

Other than England (and we know they look down on us), I don't think anyone in world really cared. Sex is not nearly as big of a deal in the rest of the world (See FCC). Enough of this Conservative BS. What the hell does his personal life have to do with the way he ran the country. IMO, we were much better off with Clinton than we will ever be with Bush.

It would be his personal life if it had occured in a motel. Since it happened at his desk in the oval office, I'd say that was his PROFESSIONAL life. And there are some implications...blackmail potential for one, lying to the American people for two, and the fact that young teenagers now use Bill as an excuse to have oral sex for three.

Compare to war...of course not. The war is annother issue but as a matter of fact...it has been suggested that there WAS a relationship between the scandal and war. When impeachment talks started...Bill fired his cruise missle (pun intended). And the opposite, as several have suggested..his administration may have held back taking certain anti-terrorist actions because they did not want to be perceived as "Wagging the DOG". Hard to know....there is so much they did not do!

Believe me, given that he is married to Hillary, I fully understand his desire to get some action. God knows he deserved it! But as a minimum, he needed to keep his pants up in the big round room..

Haha, nixon, good joke there. But I am still going to have to keep my statement, and from my friend that just got back(one of the last planes back before Bush decided to keep them there longer) from Iraq, the impression he gave me was just that although it is agreed that Bush is a good military leader, most of that basis is simply because the U.S. has been building and maintaining military superiority, and Bush needed the shove on the shoulder to put it to use and prove it. Once put to use, Bush realized he was in over his head, hence our deficit. So I will agree that Bush did stick to his guns and followed through, but I think that was his biggest mistake. That and trying to fight terrorism with war. IMHO.

I just don't see that there was an EXTREME escalation in terrorism due to 9/11. I don't mean to push buttons here, just saying that it's not like after 9/11, terrorists were running around like jackrabbits, although that was what we were told. It just seems that 9,000 lives is a large price to pay for the actions of a few deranged neo-religous people. I am always open to new ideas and having my mind changed, but as of now, my opinion is that Bush is simply causing us more harm in the long run by creating more terror in the Middle East, giving us such a huge deficit, and by all the alliances/treaties/laws he has broken with the U.N.

What's going on in the war room? Oh yeah, that's right, that's not public information.

What's the latest that's going on at the Pentagon? Oh man, guess we're not allowed to know that either.

Well lets allow him to have a public life at his residency then. Oh wait, that's the White House!

Face it. We dove into his Private Life and it was pathetic how everyone was so concerned about him gettting a hummer compared to the struggling school systems, the rising deficit, or Health Care.

Name one politican who hasn't. At least he lied about his personal life, and not... I dunno, say.... A WAR!

Yeah, because if this didn't happen teenagers wouldn't be having oral sex. I can nearly guarantee that Bill did not influence 1 teenager into oral sex. However, I bet their peers did! This can hardly be used as an arguement. Comeon, you're really digging here. Don't treat us all like idiots. Sure, when caught they may have blamed Clinton, but that's something this country does great. Pass the buck and don't take any responsibility for ones actions (or their child's).

Yeah, because every teenager wants to be just like Bill Clinton.

Come on, give me a break. Of all the reasons to have oral sex, I don't think "Because Bill did it" is onen of them.

Agreed,,, I use Bill as an example of what a married man should not do. I don't use him as an excuse on the weekends for...
