My Dads old Datsun pickup with a built 289 and a 4 speed. Dont remember much but it was very cool, and was done way before engine swaps in small trucks became popular. Never ran the 1/4 with it, but a guy he worked with had a old S-10 with a Buick turbo V6 and my Dad handed him his ass by no less than 2 car lenghts whenever they raced. The crotch rockets in town could never get away from him either. Had a 3 inch exhaust that sounded like no other car I have ever heard since. I wish he still had that truck

Obviously I don't drive fast cars ...
2003 BMW 325xi. (Automatic, unfortunately; couldn't figure out how to work the manumatic and didn't much feel like breaking my cousin's new car.)
It was fast enough for me!
I'm one of those 'luxury and handling rather than speed' kinda guys... 'tis why I drive a Contour

Fastest car owned so far that's running right is my SHO. Driven a C5 6 spd, '03 M3, S2000, & drove a 911 but didn't get to flog it. Got a ride in a Bondurant Cobra at the SVT Experience at full tilt. Now that was fun.

My father's '01 Lightning was the fastest thing I've ever driven. It's speed was only matched by its thirst for premium fuel. My dad passed away last July and my mom traded it in on a '04 Escape(infinitely more practical as an everyday vehicle for her).

that car should be putting out way more that 600 hp if it is running 30psi...
as far as the fastest thing that i have driven it would have to be my dads mustang after we swaped in the hi-rev 306(380rwhp). it was hella scary the first time i drove it...

Suzuki Hayabusa at an indicated 205. Of course, with a bigger sprocket in the back, I'm sure it was just a WEEE bit off. Ooooh... cars. Sorry.

The quickest car I've ever driven was a Ferrari 328. The fastest car I've ever ridden in was a supercharged Ferrari 456M. The fastest I've ever driven (although the car itself wouldn't be as fast as the 328)- my old Lingenfelter tweaked C4 vette at 160.
