About the gasket, I asked for a replacement when I was calling for the sock filter. No one seem to carry that as well. Will SigLM be the savior again? Is that the only place that we can get those two specific parts for our FP/S?

OP klui New CEG\'er K Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 33	FYI....Spoke to Steve over at SigLM and he says those sock filters are no longer available for our fuel pumps. The new pumps have the sock filter directly molded on according to Steve. Unless, someone knows of another source (OEM or aftermarket), we may all have to just clean the old filter or buy the entire unit. Good news is SigLM can still get the gaskets.

Big Jim_dup1 Hard-core CEG'er B Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 4,693 Thousand Oaks, California, USA	I don't know if this will help of not, but there is a recall on the Focus to replace the fuel pump if there are any symptoms that could be caused by a bad fuel pump. If you could figure out who to ask, maybe you could find someone that was willing to let you have the old sock filter from one of those. You might try starting with the parts guy. He knows which technicians are doing those recalls. I'm sure that all those old pumps are just getting scrapped. Jim Johnson 98 SVT 03 Escape Limited
