I'm running my door speakers off the deck. All i'm looking for is a little boost in the lower frequencies. I don't crank it much, and what I consider cranked, most people would consider "not so loud".
I also like that it's small.
I understand it would be ideal to put the unit in the passenger compartment, but as you know we don't have big cars, and putting it by the passenger's feet would really take up a lot of space (i know the unit is only 5" high, but that's a lot of leg room!).
Do you think that for my application -- bass to round out the overall sound -- trunk mounting would be alright?
My deck puts out 20 or 22 watts rms per door. The kenwood is 30 + 30w rms.
