I wanna see this chart as well!
My dad has an F-350 6.0 Turbo Diesel, not bad in stock form but I would love to chip/intake/exhaust it and make some serious power. Only thing is is has to be good for towing afterwards, tows a 24000 lb trailer on a daily basis (barely sweats)as well as a fifth wheel with a boat behind it for weekend getaways.

Tell him to get the JUICE!!!! You can adjust the power levels from within the cab with the Attitude monitor. It's safe and fun too. Pull upto a light see a ricer turn it upto 5 and crank the low level fuel delivery=instant smoke cloud and a confused ricer

turbo deseils are awesome for mods... $350 gets you a program that'll give you 50+ hp and 100+ tq. Now, THAT's bang for the buck! Desiel engines like fuel. You just cram more fuel down their throats and they'll supply the air. I'd say most of the tq. comes from the 6+ liters of engine and of course the turbo

i was just going to mention that. propane helps those guys out a ton. pretty sweet.
someone also already mentioned that those desiels can handle insane amounts of boost.
propane or nitrous, intake, monster exhaust, chip, lots more boost, and tranny mods = insanely fast truck

Diesels under load and chipped smoke...ALOT!!!! I leave smoke screens too and I'm not even double stacked Have you ever seen a diesel hooked upto a pulling sled? can we say smoke?
Oh yeah I want to see the dyno chart on that Dmax
I understand, but I read alot about the big diesels and modding them and at least for the big Cats and Detriots and Cummins, all that smoke is just unburned fuel, that can be fixed. EGTs are not the greatest either. Not saying your wrong, and I dont know exactly what the chips on the smaller diesels do, so Im gonna shut up now
Check out the horsepower articles here. 3600 ft/lb diesels with no smoke screens. One of those articles talks about the excess smoke.

Those are big rigs. Big bore straight 6's. My motor pales in comparison to those monsters. Diesels are gonna smoke no matter what be it under load or when it's really cold out. It's just one of the added perks of owning one
