Did the car in the yard have front end damage - particularly on the driver side? If so, the output shaft on that motor may not have been true. Perhaps the flywheel has a wobble in it. IIRC, the clutch must be aligned carefully when installing as well.

This is a tough one, & perhaps beyond my experience.


Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
