I have a 97 tour and the IRMC is not working. I will take it apart to clean it and what not as I read in other posts. But till I can order a new one. Will it harm the motor or other parts to drive this for a few days or a week till I get another one or get this one working?

Also, any other sites or parts guys to get parts from besides the dealers. They want $130.00 for this part. Can I get it cheaper? Just curious. If not then I guess I am paying dealers prices.... Bummer...

Thanks alot...

There should be no perminate damage.

For what it is worth, although you could probably find a replacement in a wrecking yard, I think you would be better off with a new one. I'm sure a new one will last longer. A used one would already be a long way down the wear cycle. You might see if you can get a better price from Bill Jenkins.
