Technically there are only 2 cables for the v6.
But there are 3 in total. 1 for Zetec and 2 for Duratec.

hahaha had to add this from service manual.

Note: Incorrect wrapping of speed control cable core wire around speed control servo pulley may result in a high idle condition. Make sure that throttle lever is at idle position after speed control cable installation.
