That SHO was the "show stopper."
Roger, the white SHO w/ the sweet wheels and pizza pie-sized brakes also had a S/C. Like I said, it had it all!
Pat (owner of the SHO) was a really nice guy, too. BTW, I don't think it showed up in the pic, but there was a sticker in the engine bay that said
"Paid for by my children's inheritance."
Here's a shot from the "parking lot" at Bishop's Castle. There were two other cars with us, but they were on the other side of the road.
BTW, on the way back, the gold SHO kissed a guard rail.

(I think every one of us entered this turn a little too fast. I know I did, as my modulating brake pedal (abs) told me so.

It was the only time I heard my tires chirp.) Anyway, the gold SHO's rear end swung out one direction, then the opposite direction, and the other direction again, and he kissed the gaurd rail.

He was 2 cars behind me entering the turn. I got a chance to look in my rearview about 10 seconds after the turn and noticed nobody behind me...

The mishap was nothing too major, but it sure shook him (us) up.
Roger - we're hoping for a mid-summer run again. We'll see you there.
