First off, a big thanks to BLACKWIDDOWSVTT for organizing this shindig. It was a blast! We started off in Pueblo, CO, and headed west. There were 13 people there, which has to be some kind of SW record... The roads were twisty, not terribly congested, and the weather was great! All in all, it was about 150 miles of fun. Here's the timeline: Heading out from Pueblo On Hwy 50 Stopped to take some pics along the way (From L --> R: "Tourtured '95, BLACKWIDDOW, SHO, SHO, PlatoSVT) (From L --> R: SHO, KingpinSVT, SHO, Derk2000, dragonfly) (From front ---> rear: SHO, Dionysis, don't know) 245/45/17s At the end of the day, I got a ride in this SHO. It's a BEAST!!! We stopped at Bishop's Castle - the guy's a NUT! (www.bishopcastle.org) But, he's hand building this castle on his own. By the end of the day, we lost 2 white SHOs and 2 black SVTs, but it's all good. I think I get the award for "longest round trip" Enjoy!

17x8" ROH wheels if I'm not mistaken. they're awesome! In fact, that car had it all. Brakes as big as my wheels, amazing wheels/tires, suspension beefed up, engine... ...

Ya, I gotta say that this run was a BLAST! best parts(for me, since i didnt make it up to Bishop's) were lunch and that one turn going up... Everyone who went knows what I'm talking about... So we come up on this turn, two lanes on our side, gradual turn, I'm flying through it at about 80 -90, really pushing the car's grip and behind me comes Pat with that SC SHO, and HOLY [censored]!!! Guy fly's by me like I'm driving a Civic... I was blown off my ass, and fully on the pedal, and I hear that SC whine, and just about crapped my pants. Can't believe the speed and handling on that thing. Oh ya, and then we come around the turn a bit more, and 4 Bike State Patrols come opposite us, and the rear one slams on his brakes! but I think he figured to let us have our fun, or that there was no way to ID one particular car, since there were 2-3 of each color. Derk, I am exceedingly jealous of you now that I know u rode in that beast. - Chris
BTW, u can see that SHO passed me, as it is one car ahead of me when we parked off of the highway. Don't think i've ever been more impressed.

That SHO was the "show stopper." Roger, the white SHO w/ the sweet wheels and pizza pie-sized brakes also had a S/C. Like I said, it had it all! Pat (owner of the SHO) was a really nice guy, too. BTW, I don't think it showed up in the pic, but there was a sticker in the engine bay that said "Paid for by my children's inheritance." Here's a shot from the "parking lot" at Bishop's Castle. There were two other cars with us, but they were on the other side of the road. BTW, on the way back, the gold SHO kissed a guard rail. (I think every one of us entered this turn a little too fast. I know I did, as my modulating brake pedal (abs) told me so. It was the only time I heard my tires chirp.) Anyway, the gold SHO's rear end swung out one direction, then the opposite direction, and the other direction again, and he kissed the gaurd rail. He was 2 cars behind me entering the turn. I got a chance to look in my rearview about 10 seconds after the turn and noticed nobody behind me... The mishap was nothing too major, but it sure shook him (us) up. Roger - we're hoping for a mid-summer run again. We'll see you there.
