And valve body, and aux. cooler and some more things.
Would be real good to do things like the clutch packs as well, but that would get real costly. The escape cd4e handles the kenne bell supercharger, so there is hope if you really want to use a cd4e with high horsepower. Not sure what is different about the escape cd4e.

As for the clutch packs... I have since found out that the clutch packs used by Level 10, Blue Plate Specials, are avaliable but only to Level 10. Our only "real" hope of having a highly modded ATX that last will be with these clutch packs. The BPS are designed for extremely high line pressure and tons of torque. Under alot of abuse from any highly modded platform would result in the clutches literaly coming apart.

As for the vavle body... there's not really alot more that can be done other than what I have talked about in the tranny forums. There is no secert ingrediant of parts, for the valve body, that will up line pressure or any of that. The TransGo kit, does really up line pressure but really just stabilizes it.

Torque convertor... As long as it is furnace brazed, you will be ok. Under no circumstances should you run a highly modded platform with a "rebuilt" TC. Normal welds will not cut the repeated abuse. Stall speed, you will have to know your power curves to match your stall speed, so...

Everything else should be good.

Now, with all the theory stuff out of the way... No one round these parts has ever done any of this, so we really don't know how alot of this stuff is going to act. I post what I told Hector when he told me about possibly buying that turbo kit....

If you wanted to be safe, you would have to call Level 10 and purchuse their clutch kit, which should include the Blue Plate Specials. I would use Redline ATX fluid, because it has a higher level of friction modifers in it. This would allow for better grip in the clutch packs and torque convertor clutch. Get a furnace brazed TC, yes they are all lock-up style tc's these days. That is unless you were to specify differently when custom building one. Right now, that is about all I can think of off the top of my head.

Since Hector has taken really good care of his tranny, with flushes every 20K or so, he should be fine for now. But what might lay ahead is anyone's guess.

Russell, on the other hand, might be ok since he will only be spraying ever so often. Then again, I guess it would depend on what sort of numbers he puts down when spraying.

Man... I'm tirer already!
