One of the guys at work bought a used C5 2 yrs ago. Awesome sound and torque and go and .... well you know.

He is very happy with it and with the prices dropping like they are, they have to be THE used car bargain out there right now.

The only thing is i) the cost of gas & ii) they are a cop magnet. My buddy got 2 or 3 tickets in the first year and they weren't for 5 over either.

down here in the bay area the Chebby dealer prolly has 100 or so on the lot and all the new ones are $10,500 off MSRP(excluding Z06) as the '05 is due for release.

To quote www.carbuyingtips.com : "If you want a Corvette, buy it in Schaumburg, Illinois in January during a blizzard."

Good luck!
