Well, I checked the new tc, it has a code of C. I will be calling the parts house to look at my old unit. Since the bolt patterns are different on these, the tc that matches up to my old flywheel should be the correct one should it not? This new one does mount to my flywheel. I removed the oil pump rod so as to make it easier to check this unit when on all the way. The tc pushed down twice when I worked with it to seat it. When seated it is not meshing with the teeth inside, thus the tc makes a slight grinding noise when I rotate it.
