The snell rating will be inside the helmet under the liner. As said before, check with the club to see if they will allow an M rated helmet. Also, for those who need a helmet sometime soon, if you can wait for it, the new rating of 2005 will be out sometime soon and will be acceptable for a lot longer than the 2000 rated helmets.
