Sorry about all these questions, but since I have no idea what I am doing, I am finding I have a rather lot of them.

I tried searching to find the information but couldn't get any useful results. On the factory speaker wires, which wire is positive and which is negative?

Unrelated question: for imaging, will I get better results mounting the tweeter higher in the factory location, or down lower? It seems the grille opening in the door panel doesn't extend all the way up, which is the only reason I wouldn't mount it higher. (I realize that the sail panel is the best place, but that's already been hashed over in another thread, my only two mounting options are low or high in the factory location).

Are you running a plate setup or something? Imaging woundn't be much different either way. But I mounted mine with the tweets downwards so it wouldnt get blocked by the door pannel.
