I had 0 experience. I too was very afraid of messing up when I worked on the project. The one big problem that I had was losing the bolts. I dropped 2 of them and only recovered one. I don't know what happened to the other. Also, I got myself a bunch of sandwich bags and put the bolts in them and labeled them. That helped me out a lot later when I was reassembling them. Also, take a lot of pictures behind the IAC and next to the TB. That way you can see how the wiring is.
Other than that, the hardest part was the cleaning.
