I would recommend the BP1200. As everyone else is saying, it depends what impedence the subs will be wired to. If you are able to go down to 2 ohms, the JBL amp will have a lot more power, thus having more "headroom." You won't have to gain the amp up as high to get the same power, and will also have more power on tap for that pesky kid next to you at the stoplight.
FWIW, the Alpine amp is still super badass if you are more interested in clean power with tons of adjustability. It's no punk!
