I wanted to let you know that I am selling my tour. I hate to sell it, but I need something that is more convenient for my new position at work (lots of travel around the ottawa area) and the fact that we have two large dogs, and are looking into a wagon or 5 door type car which is better for hauling dogs.
I have the car advertised in the classifieds here as well as the autotrader. I have it in the trader for $11,400 Cdn, but am hoping to sell to someone from this site who will appreciate it more than the clueless people who have been inquiring about the car, for quite a bit less than that. If I don't sell, I will trade it in for the new car.
some details are:
96,000 km (55,000 miles) 98 year, black top maintenance at dealer (all records) nothing left for more than a couple of days when repair is needed. Includes winter set of tires with blizzack tires very clean, no rust or accidents garaged at home and at work brand new st200s with new fuzion Zri always mobil 1 with no exceptions, the oil is still almost clear when I do the changes. This car is extremely clean in an out (including engine) I had a look in the valve cover the other day and there is no build up that you might see on others cars. Car runs like a top, does not burn or leak oil. I am willing to let this car go for between $9500-$9800 (firm on this price range...approx $7500 american) depending on what $$$ I need to put into it for safety (it may require rear brakes, fronts are new). No tranny issues. Car was never raced or tracked and I wasn't one to speed shift or drop the clutch. I was planning a synthetic tranny change before winter, the only reason being is it helps with cold weather shifting.
Known issues: The remote trunk opener is not installed. I took it out when it stopped working, took it apart and noticed that the gears were stripped and never got around to installing a new one.
