Personally I don't care for the clear lights. I do indeed like the factory lights much better. However your Mondeo is awesome looking. I wish they would have issued white SVT's (SVT-3's car looks amazing).....

As for calling a car "rice" simply due to the Clear lights..ehhhhh I don't think so. These Ford Factory Altezza's do indeed look bad, however in now way can you call the Ford Lighting "Rice"

i think the car looks great. but when it comes to the altezzas tails some look good and some dont. some of the ones ive seen are just over done with too much stuff in it and dont even have a smooth chrome surface. not to mention that the fact that the plastic makes it look so yuck especialy the plastic chrome. some look better in black. most of my friends that had altezzas switched to jdm lights , tinted them, or just took them off. the worst ones i think are the 95-99 eclipse altezzas with that dumb looking center piece that doesnt do anything worst of all the one that says i think spyder or sport. i wouldnt call it rice just ugly product or bad choice in some cases. but like i said some look good and some dont.

and they are EURO tail lights and i believe scotland is in europe?
