Last time I checked AutoZone did not carry any thermostats for the Duratec.
Stant does not list anything but the reboxed OEM t-stat (mislabeled as a 180) when looking it up by application. DON'T look it up by application.
If you want a cooler thermostat (160 rating) run the known good stant number I figured out a while ago.
DO NOT even bother with trying a 180 t-stat. The change from stock at full open is maybe a couple degrees and that's once you actually find a manufacturer that makes a 180 and does not sell a reboxed OEM as a 180.
Also like Scott said. Without the fans changed you are at the mercy of your cooling system and fluid type & mix when "moving" slowly.
The more efficient that is (SVT radiator, OAT coolant, higher water %, water wetter type product, etc) the cooler everything runs under all conditions.
