Im 31, married and have 1 ticket. I live near Ann Arbor, MI. I dont currently own a 'Tour but the quotes I got this week are:
$725/6mo for SE, V6 $749/6mo for CSVT
At 16, or 17, or even 21 just expect to get hammered on insurance. But, it never gets "cheap".

Did you miss the huge post last week between the socialists (well, one at least) wanting to government to step in and make insurance 'fair' and the facts?
If so, feel free to catch up here..

Insurance varies a lot, depending where you live. My wife and I are both 36 years old and live in Central Pennsylvania. She drives a 1999 Ford Taurus Wagon ("for pleasure" only, in insurance lingo) and I drive a 1996 Contour. My one-way trip to work is about twenty miles (freeway).
We pay 262 dollars a year for liability only. We have liability of about 500,000 for property damage and one million personal injury â?? which is well above the legal minimum. I expect the rates to go up because I had an accident (50 percent fault) about two months ago. I totaled my Tercel in a head-on collision with a Dodge Neon. However, I donâ??t expect the rates to go up THAT much.
Sincerely,
Scott

Not to but in late on this post.. but my insurance On my mother's name.. is 200 a month (paying 400 every two months) and I'm 18. Most of the price is involved in full coverage, though. Try to keep a cool head even though I can't It has to be paid.

I pay $76/month for my 95 SE 2.5L 5spd (just over $900/yr). If you give your insurance company your VIN when they ask for it, that lets them know the color of your car right there if they wanted it. My contour is red, but I don't think my insurance is high at all, especially being 19. Clean driving record, although I almost got points when I got pulled over a month ago in TN. 83 in 70, driving school saved my day. Wonder how high it will be when I get a GTP. 240hp 280 ft/lb tq. stock should make it go up a little.
