If I chose to get amp input from the speakers and connect it to the high level inputs on the amp, do i still need to
connect the amp turn on to something, or will it detect it on its own. The amp will be in a 1999 taurus, used to power
the rear speakers, and the HU is the stock oval cass. player. If i do need the amp turn on, where do I connect it
(no power antenna) ?

-thanks for the help (even though it doesn't have to do with contiques smile )

if you use an ampifier with high lvl inputs to boost the sound out of your rear spkrs, make sure you disconnect the factory spkr leads going into those spkrs or you'll backfeed the factory amp.. for a remote turn-on for the amplifier, if you dont have a power antenna use the acc power. (you get 12V only when the key is on) ..
good luck

thanks a lot brokk, I never thought about using the ACC ignition turned, but would that be too high of a voltage for the amp turn on? or does it not matter
