I've got an older Sony HU and it seems that when I go above a certain volume or change the treble/bass above 0 that it will cut off and then turn back on.
Everything appears to be connected correctly so I'm not sure whats up...what are some things I should look for?
Check your wiring again.. Depending how old of a sony some of the Real old ones are common ground. Other than that it could be a bad interenal amp. Just get rid of the SONY there El-Cheapo
I don't know how I could've screwed the wiring up but I guess I'll have to check it again...I'm not sure how many different ways u can wire up a cd player but never hurts to go back and look.
Also believe it or not but this Sony is an upgrade to my Jensen HU so when I actually get this thing working right...I'm sure it will keep me happy for a while.
I have the CDX L350, and the same thing happens. But only when it's cold, well not even real cold but even when it's 55 in the morning and I try turning it up, I can't or it cuts in and out, but it doesn't do it when it's warm.
