If you want to learn on installations, DONT LISTEN to you friends, espcially the ones "good with electronics". Hell most shops have guys that know basic wiring, but cant diag a problem once they cause one.
Best thing to do is read magazines and ask questions on this forum. Too many goofs out there end up telling rubbish, that then turns out into a huge myth of car audio (hmm...sounds like a new post topic :p )[/QB]
