Yes ARJoel I know where that fuse is located. So what you are saying is to disconnect the battery before installing the amp. This I understand. By the way I was trying to purchase the profile 600msx for 99 from an e-commerence only site www.addicted2audio.com, whom do not have a phone contact, but their checkout counter did work properly. So I guess I will purchase the JBL b300.1

lol im not saying that. Jon Gordon is. personally i would rather just tape up the end of the live wire lol (im a lazy mu****a). Its just to be safe that you dont ground it out somewhere when you're working on installing your amp. Just look at all of the connections on your old amp, and mimic that when installing your new one. Take your time, dont rush, and no matter how much you are stumped about car audio you can still do a good job. Then just adjust your amp until it sounds good (your opinion).

Well at the www.addicted2audio.com, site I did a money order check transaction and that seemed to work. Will see if it worked within the few weeks it takes to receive the check money order payment and for them to then ship the profile 600msx unit. Hope it works. The profile Baja I purchased from CC had to be replace by another one during the install because the installer could not get the amp to fire up. Funny he did not check to see if the unit would turn on until he mounted it and drilled holes in its mounting plates. Now was that stupid or what. Anyway I had to exchange that unit with another one in the store. That second BAJA worked fine.
