I can't beleive that they actually killed the man!!! Seemed to have it down to the t also too bad they didn't show his "dead man's hand" In real life evidently Montana came to deadwood a few days before his death so I guess that they had to be historically accurate too bad though, I was just getting to like the guy.
What ya'll think of Deadwood, pretty good show in my opinion, little rough around the edges but aren't they all in HBO?

I love the show. In fact, I like it so much I'm seeing the Sopranos as getting in the way of it. Sopranos has been pussified over last season and this one, so it's nice to see HBO come out with something with Sopranos' old edge and authenticity.

I also can't believe they killed off Wild Bill. He was definitely my favorite character, and he was finally starting to be really really cool. I guess it's Montana's turn to shine.

What I don't get is how in the first episode they hanged a man for stealing a horse, and according to the previews for next week's episode the guy who shot Hickok roams free. I wonder what the logic in that is. I guess that's why we have to tune in!

deadwood history for more information on true history of deadwood.
Evidently "montana" was a founding member of Deadwood as well as Sol. Interesting History of the town, Evidently HBO has already signed for a second season.

Well in the first episode, Montana was a lawman and he decided to hang the guy. In Deadwood, there is no law so I'm guessing next week they'll show the Deadwood community try to figure out a way to deal with criminals.

Yeah I know, but you figure with no law the guy would catch one in the head in short time.

Brings up something to ponder: that disorder is sometimes more ordered than order.

EDIT: Thanks for the link, jlanger!
