you'll have to forgive my ignorance here but, i was searching the archives for information corncerning how uncomfortable my svt's drivers seat is when driving for an hour or more when i stumbled upon a thread stating that there is an adjustable lumbar support. i had no idea. my last car, a cirrus, had a little lever on the side of the seat. my 99 csvt does not have this lever. where would this adjustment be and has anyone else found this seat umconfortable? oh yeah....i weigh 220lbs and the seat fits perfectly except for this little problem.

Yeah, I originally couldn't find it till I made a post like this.

It's the lever you use to tile the angle of the seat back. The top part of the switch controls the angle of the seat back and the bottom part of the switch works the lumbar.

yes, on the driver's seat (it's on both, but this is for explanatory purposes), there's the reclining wheel to tilt the seat on the bottom left. on the right side, there's another wheel at about your shoulder-blades. that's the wheel you're looking for

this is for the non-power seats, isn't it? SVT has power driver's seat, hence the buttons.

use the button that adjusts the seat back, push the bottom of it forward and it will inflate the lumbar thing.

I had my car for 3 years before realizing it had a lumbar support. I "found" it when I was cleaning the switch and accidentally inflated it.

I went through one SVT and then realized the lumbar control on my second SVT. I couldn't believe I never realized this adjustment on my first SVT.

Best- 2003 Volvo XC70 Seats
Close- 1983 Porsche 911 SC Seats
Almost as good- 1998 Contour SVT Seats

I find the SVT to have one of the most comfortable seats i've ever experienced.
