Stupid question of the day:
Are the revised pans ( or any pan) easy to swap out, or do you have to drop the subframe?

FYI:
Just called Bill's new guy at Signature and they quoted me $130 for the 03 Escape pan and accessories. He said the 3M4Z number has been replaced by a new number. I guess the price went up a bit.

Mine was about that much too, he's quoting use the 58LE one or whatever the OTHER pan is with the built in gasket, I don't know WHY it's more, I guess and integrated gasket is more expensive to make, ?????

The 3M4Z pan is $116.34 at fordpartsonline.com right now. The new pan did not show up under a part number search.

what they don't tell you is that you have to buy a new dip stick and sleeve with the new oil pan. I just order them together from Bill. I think it was around 130 total.

Yeah, when I got my new pan from Bill, I was like WTF?! where's the gasket?
I suppose the pan w/ built-in gasket costs about the same as the previous pan + gasket. I'd assume you'd want to use a new gasket anyway.
EDIT: contoursvt11, those are some pretty sweet pics on your site. What event was that? Local track day?
If you ever feel the need to toss those superlegerras, trash can's right here!

LOL. I don't think I will be tossing the OZ's anytime soon. I love them. Thanks for the coments. It was a three day track event through Performance drivers association. It was a blast. I am going to do some more of them this summer at Road Atlanta. Yeah I made sure Bill sent me the kit with the gasket and bolts.
