I just finished rebuilding my atx. There are MANY things that can go wrong to cause you problems. When I rebuilt mine, I found crack inside case, cracked/leaking direct housing, oil pump blowout, valve body worn, clutches/steels worn beyond specs, reverse drum leaking. I pretty much replaced everything that I felt was even remotely in question, including solonoid pack, shift correction kit, tss, vss and manual level control switch, tc, bearings....


Troubleshooting these atx is also kinda complicated...I thought Unisys was right on track until you revealed that you actually took a line pressure test! I haven't seen too many people know about a line pressure test let alone perform one!
