The money is not a big issue to me, At first I was anxious to have this motor built by this summer time, and now I just want to build it right, I can wait and save money.
The deal is,
If I buy the forged rods I can get the ross pistons for $500, If I just buy the pistons they are $600
The diamond pistons with rings and wrist pins are $714.
So there is not too much of difference. I just want what is best.
Also I just noticed that, the diamond pistons I had were only a .5mm over bore, and the ross are 1mm overbore... How much will that come into play?
Beyondloadedse: You are using the 8.5:1 CR correct? your car is running now? how do you like it?
