Ummm...no. A cap can only help. Caps smooth out the current draw.


The majority of all dimming problems are due to bad connections and wire that is too small.

A car battery can supply an insane amount of current for short bursts. With an Optima, 4AWG wire, and good connections, you should have no dimming problems.
