well like I have stated earlier upgrading stock wiring (I think it is 8 gauge) to 4 or 0 gauge will do wonders. I have a soundstream that puts out 900 watts RMS @ 4 ohm and a Crunch amp that is 400 watts rms @ 4 ohm. For our vehicles you will never have to upgrade the alternator, and stock batteries should be fine as well. I say before trying anything else to redo the wiring, cause I am almost positive it will take care of it.
