He wouldn't even find me a supplier for the surround. I got "I think they use JL surround, try that" Awesome customer service indeed!
I ended up going through a web based company Simply Speakers. They sent two surrounds and the epoxy to attach the surround. They get thumbs up
I'm also bitter because they chose "acoustic elegance" over my idea for a company name

Lambda is even worse. Nick got a new job, and no longer cares about his customers. After a week of e-mailing him, I got a reply. Send $30 US and I'll send you the surround and parts to attach it. I sent $30 the next day. I never saw anything, but after a month got a message saying "oops, I got budy, I'll send it asap!" Nope, that didn't happen.
I tried for 2 months to get ahold of Nick at Lambda by phone (really nice long distance calls to his answering service) e-mail, and going outside and yelling as loud as I could. None worked. Then Dave mentionned it to him, and got a response similar to this:
Oh gee! Golly! That's terrible, I'll fix it right away! I'll send it asap!
Take a lucky guess what happened
Next time I buy a subwoofer, I'm walking into a store for it.

The cone is spun alluminum, so use an epoxy that works with metals. It should work just fine

scuff up the back of the dust cap with 120 grit sandpaper and use some hi viscosity super glue.

A store!!! That means RETAIL PRICING!!! and supporting your local small business, but hey, who cares aboot that eh? Out of curiosity, if you were to drop some cash on a sub today at a store, what would it be and why.

I've done bussines with Parts Express(partsexpress.com) many times and have been very impressed with there service. There Dayton Quatro line of sub are said to sound very good and the Dayton DVC 12 is very much like a Adire Audio Shiva and the DVC 15 is very close to a Adire Tempest.
