Personally, I wouldn't consider Alpine or RF amps as the bang for the buck is low on either of them. My personal alternative would be a
US Acoustics USX-2080 for $80 and $220 in my pocket for more stuff.
But, with a gun to my head I'd go with the Alpine amp. The RF's amp output is lower indicated by the 10GA power requirement (8GA for the Alpine) and rating at 14.4V (USX is 12.9V, I think the Alpine is rated at 12.5V). I think the RF amp also has the lowest S/N ratio. Plus, it's ugly and is available at Best Buy!
