Do you have to drop the rear subframe to do the install. Is there anything else I should know before I get into it.

No need to drop the subframe.

Jack the rear end up and stick it on jack-stands

Remove both wheels

Unbolt end links

Unbolt mounts, remove brackets

With a buddy, one of you stay under the car while the other pushes it out from the side wheel well. underneath guy will guide it out while side guy pushes.

When going to a larger bar, it will take some work but you can wedge it into its home using the twom man methond above without loosening the fuel tank support brackets.

One of the easiest things to do ever. Just remove and replace.
