Would you buy this sub enclosure the thing only costs $29 and i'm probably going to put the Blueprint 1001 in there with some stuffing...

As long as the dimensions are right for the sub sure why not. If you ever need to you can add bracing later on. Do it smile

I can't find my WinISD program, but that box seems a little too big. Just over 1.0 ft^3 for a 10" seems too much to me. Someone else with a box-building program should chime in and correct me, but I think I remember the 1001 needs smaller airspace, like ~.6-.75 ft^3, but I could easily be wrong.

the H-101LQ from the zeb is 64.99. It's the regular subzone, not Z. It's .66 I have a blueprint 1001 in that box, and it sounds great.

gotcha - so the dimensions on that guy is
12" h X 13 1/2" bd X 8 1/2" td X 14"w

versus
12-3/4"h x 12-7/8"(bd) x 10-1/8"(td) x 12-5/8"w

so who can run WinISD's on these boxes? the BP1001 is supposed to run in a .5 cu/ft box (a little big is fine since i'll put some stuffing in the box)

Aren't you supposd to use stuffing when the box is too small? If the box is allready bigger than recommended, I don't know if you should use it. I bought some stuffing recently, but have not put it in yet. I'm probably going to put some in when I get my sub back to see if it makes any improvement. I can tell you this, you will be amazed at the performance of the blueprint sub in this enclosure.

well - here's the specs from Blueprint on their recommendation for a car setup...

BluePrint Drivers

Suggestions
Small sealed enclosures: 14 liters (.5 cuft) with light stuffing. Excellent for SQ applications.
Ported enclosures: they are rather difficult to construct using this driver due to port lengths and air speed in the ports. We have had good results with 42 liters (1.5 cuft) tuned to 30 Hz with a 3" diameter X 11" long port. Excellent for lower powered applications.

blueprint subs are awsome, the 01 series is alright, but you should build your own box. it would be way more bang for the buck than that box. just go get some 3/4 mdf wood, maybe $20, and some screws... just make sure you measure twice cut once! have fun! laugh

More bang for the buck, if you have box building experience. If not, Your better off to just buy one, and the subzone is a great quality box. And BTW the 1001 isn't just allright, it's pretty funkin amazing, especially at it's price.
