I think you're only partially correct. 19" refills were too short for my 96 stock wiper blades (the ones with the l33t air fins). Speaking of which, I have a box of Bosch 19" refills laying around that I can't use because they're too short. 20" refills for passenger side are what you want for pre-98's.
Maybe buying the whole blade (e.g. NOT the refills) is different, because the 20" blade of my winter wipers does seem a little big, and 19" could probably fit better.
Yes i did mean the whole blade.... the origional Bosch is like a 19.5", they are measured in metric so that's where the variance is..
