Buy a $100 aftermarket HU to improve reception, clarity, and sound level.

Put some good hot sauce on it and eat it. As you are blowing it out your ass it will be producing better bass than ever before. Other than that just buy a new HU like APT said, although I doubt it will be as much fun

not all factory radios suck. but all ford factory radios suck.
infiniti bose systems are quite nice, especially in the old Q45.
and the levinson system for lexus is pretty good.

ooh, and dont forget the bose systems in the nissan maxima's but as stated before all FORD stock systems do suck
