That was the question I asked in my last email, no response yet, and I highly doubt that they are going to replace any of the parts that failed, that is unless we make a big stink about it. Mine has not failed yet and can only hope that it holds out, but I would really like to get the updated parts. I'm not at liberty to go out and buy a turbo kit for my SVT at this point so I am going to stick it out with my Vortech.

I spoke with a NECO member that just had his cross shaft fail. It's out of warranty, but Vortech has offered him the updated shaft at a discounted price which at this point still remains unknown.

That wouldn't be so bad to get it at a discount, if the discount is substantial. I'm going to pursue getting the new shaft assembly, and hopefully it will last.

By that do you mean have at least 8 people e-mail them in one day asking the same question? haha. At least they know it peaked our interest.

All I can say is that any of the current Vortech owners that are willing to put their foot down regarding the failures surrounding the previous jackshafts, I am all for it.

3700 as opposed to 5000 seems more around my money limit. Although I know the gains are substantionally better with the SF kit, do you feel that if they have address the issue with the jack shaft, the S/C would be a decent purchase?

Not really knowing much about either, I am assuming the S/C is a bit easier to install as opposed to the SF kit?

3700 + whatever tuning costs you. The Street flight kit includes a chip for you and the vortech also has no intercooler.

Ya you are right, just seems like for me 5000 is so far away. I will just keep plugging away at it.
