Here's an email answer I received from Vortech about their updated kits.

Wow... such a reputable company (in mustang circles) putting crap back out on the market w/out any updates after constant failures...makes no sense especially when they have what appears to be a solid jackshaft design for the focus. Go Vortech

Here's another response I received from Vortech.

My question was:
May I ask if you have improved the jack shaft design
and metallurgy, as this seemed to be the cause to the majority of the failures of this kit.

Their response:

Well the focus kit has the bearing support, I wonder if they did infact make that for the Contour as well. Its not like they didn't have something to copy it from......

We need some detailed pics of this thing... though I can't say I'd probably choose this over a turbo... be nice to know that they are an option that won't self-desctruct anymore.
