Yeah I agree. Those charges are outrageous. It's really not that hard a job now that I've really gotten my hands in it. And I know very little about car repair.

There's nothing to regulate the predatory nature of garages. You just have to be on gaurd. Always. That's why I don't use garages unless I'm really desperate. Even in that case when I get the estimate I usually get AAA to pull the sucker out'a'there and bring it home...

The repairs I've had to do so far are always alot easier then they sound... for me it just takes a little time and patience. And luckily my friend is a professional mechanic.
