We finished last place in the league, and can't get the friggin first round pick from the lottery draft. Well I say screw the Caps, and screw Alexander Ovechkin. Hopefully he'll pull a Lindros, and whine and complain about playing with them... I don't think the last place team has ever won the lottery yet...damn. Okay, rant over.

Finally, some good news for the DC area. Hopefully we don't screw it up. Maybe we'll get to see him play in a couple years after the lockout is over.

Calm down. The Penguins have more potential without the first pick than the Caps do with.
Oh yeah, GO BOLTS!

Wrong! The Caps consistantly have one of the top rated farm systems in the NHL! They just had a jackass for a coach in Cassidy. Hanlin will turn them around.

The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

That means squat when there isn't anyone to lead those new players. Not to mention those AHL guys still have to prove themselves in the upper echelon. The Penguins are already ahead of the Caps in the rebuilding process (young players with NHL experience, who are putting up points as well).

Olie Kolzig and Brendan Witt are leaders! The Caps are three deep goalies! And don't be surprised if a few traded caps come back in the off season. They traded a bunch of good players at the end of their contracts for a bunch of young talent.
When Glen Hanolin took over the Caps farm team he turned a bunch of rookies into Champs. I'm not looking for much next year, just improvement. They changed coaches pretty late int he year and are learning new systems. Just watch!
