its been about 11 months now since its been down. Yes, thats a very long time, but thats what happens when its your first time, it mainly only gets worked on saturdays, and stuff needs to be shipped back to be corrected. We had a problem with our Street Flight kit, and we had to send it back and that took about a month all together. Stuff like that just slows stuff down. Its all good now though. Keyser and Keith at Street Flight have been plenty of help.
This project has costed me well over $12,000. It can be done for much less than that, since ive also done mods like custom pistons, upgraded rods, balanced crank, ported and polished heads, quaife, zetec final drive, etc.

if the clutch was bled, the axles were in, the new drivers side knuckle and hub was installed, brakes were bled, and wheels were on, then yes i would take it around the block.

Hehe, not quite. Let's just say I'm a bit further ahead of these guys. Though I am quite happy as I built both of their motors.

Congrats Jim . i'm glad you finally got it going after all that long(11 months). Well, it's good to take your time and do it right and you'll have less or no problems. Well, I can't wait to see your dyno results man.
